    Welcome to Frankfurt. After check-in this afternoon, your Travel Director takes you on an orientation tour of the city's dynamic financial centre and medieval Römerplatz.

    FRANKFURT – RHINE CRUISE – COLOGNE – WUPPERTAL

    Cruise along the River Rhine from St. Goar, site of the famous Lorelei Rock. The scenery is spectacular. Visit Cologne, Germany's fourth largest city, where you see the impressive Gothic cathedral. Your day ends in Wuppertal, the city of the world-famous monorail.

    WUPPERTAL – HAMELIN – HAMBURG

    Drive through Lower Saxony and stop in Hamelin en route to Hamburg. Hamelin is a picturesque town depicted in the Brothers Grimm fairy tale and has also been immortalised in poems by Goethe and Robert Browning. Later in Hamburg see the main sights including the inner Alster Lake during an orientation tour with your Travel Director. Dine tonight at your hotel.

    HAMBURG – BERLIN SIGHTSEEING (2 NIGHTS)

    Follow the valley of the River Elbe from Hamburg, across the former “Iron Curtain” to the historic city of Berlin.     NUREMBERG – ROTHENBURG – MUNICH (2 NIGHTS)

    Your Travel Director takes you on a wonderful orientation walk of Rothenburg, perhaps the most well-preserved medieval town in Germany. Sights include half-timbered houses and the Old Town Hall. Shop for wooden Christmas ornaments, then follow part of the Romantic Road through picturesque villages and pristine countryside to Munich, the lively capital of Bavaria.     MUNICH ORIENTATION AND FREE TIME

    See the city's landmarks on your orientation tour including the Olympic Stadium, Ludwigstrasse and Marienplatz, famous for its Glockenspiel. Take an Optional Experience to Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site in the afternoon or spend the rest of the day exploring on your own. You could visit Munich's fine museums or enjoy a walk in some of the beautiful city gardens. This evening consider a visit to the Hofbräuhaus, the world's most famous beer hall.

    Adult Price: €31.00 Despite being located 110 km (68 miles) inland, Hamburg is often referred to as 'Germany's Gateway to the World' due to the sheer number of ships that pass through the city. We'll enjoy a relaxing cruise with refreshments as we see Hamburg's skyline, historic fish market and shipyards while we learn about the city's maritime traditions.
  • Hanseatic Life and Harbour Cruise

    Adult Price: €46.00 Today, we'll see villas of the Rich and Famous along the Aussenalster, before a visit to St Michael’s Church to see the famous organ played by Bach. Then, we'll drive past St Pauli, the infamous district in Germany where The Beatles performed at the beginning of their career.
